Social Media Content, Compliance & Code of Ethics

Social media has quickly become an excellent place for free advertising for your business, which can be tricky when you are always representing yourself as a real estate professional. The clashing of these two worlds can be trouble for a REALTORĀ® who is bound to the Code of Ethics and Commissioner’s Standards. Does your post meet the advertising requirements set forth by the Commissioner? We’ll look at examples of agents getting into trouble on social media and see if you can pass the test on whether a post is fit to go live or should go straight to the trash!
